The Company
A growing external‑works and façades contractor is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join its expanding team. The business delivers high‑quality external envelope solutions including cladding, roofing, SFS, glazing interfaces, insulated render systems, fire‑remediation works and wider building‑envelope packages for commercial, residential and public‑sector projects across the UK.
The wider group is established, successful and expanding, with the façades and external‑works division already achieving strong turnover in its early years of trading. This environment suits someone motivated, reliable and keen to build a long‑term career in site management.
The Role – Assistant Site Manager
You will support the Site Manager with day‑to‑day site operations, coordination of trades and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily site coordination and supervision
- Support management of cladding, roofing, SFS or wider external‑envelope packages
- Monitor progress and ensure works meet project requirements
- Carry out quality checks and record site information
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and project teams
- Maintain health and safety standards on site
- Assist with site paperwork, reporting and documentation
- Help manage deliveries, materials and site logistics
- Support the Site Manager with decision‑making and problem‑solving
- Work closely with the wider project team to support delivery
Full support and oversight will be provided, with clear progression into Site Manager level.
