Are you a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with main contracting experience and a strong understanding of JCT contracts? Join a well-established, family-owned construction group with a turnover exceeding £100 million and a growing Midlands commercial team. Façade or cladding experience is welcome, but not essential if you have a strong main contracting background.
The group works across construction, planned maintenance, land development, building safety and façade remediation. You will join its specialist façades and cladding division, delivering fire remediation and building safety projects for residential and social housing clients. Works include cladding replacement, external wall insulation (EWI), glazing systems, balconies and wider building envelope refurbishment.
Based at the Milton Keynes office, you will manage the commercial aspects of façade, cladding and fire remediation projects, with current schemes in Birmingham and Leicester. The role offers the chance to apply your quantity surveying experience to a busy programme of building safety works, with long-term progression as the Midlands operation grows.
The Role
- Procurement and subcontract management
- Preparing and managing valuations
- Variations and change control
- CVRs and cost reporting
- Cash flow forecasting
- Contract administration
- Commercial risk management
- Final accounts
- Working closely with operational and project delivery teams
About You
You will need a strong understanding of JCT contracts gained within a main contracting environment, along with experience in quantity surveying and commercial management of construction projects.
