Senior Quantity Surveyor – Tier 1 Main Contractor
Location: Central London
Salary: £85,000–£95,000 + Car/Allowance + Benefits
A leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London division. This is a well‑established business with a strong pipeline of work across education, leisure, healthcare, life sciences and mixed‑use developments. The Role
You will take the lead on commercial management across a range of London‑based projects, ensuring financial targets are achieved and commercial processes are followed to Tier 1 standards. You will prepare detailed cost plans, valuations, forecasts and commercial reports, manage procurement and subcontractor packages, and oversee change control. You will also play a key role in 2‑stage tenders and early‑stage project development, working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with Tier 1 main contractor experience and a strong background in 2‑stage procurement. Experience across education, leisure, healthcare or life science projects is highly desirable. You will be confident managing commercial functions independently, with strong communication, negotiation and client‑facing skills. An HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management is required.
